Dancers, check your email!

Greetings PDT Family! We hope you are still staying healthy and not getting too stir crazy. ZOOM Meeting IDs for our teachers have been sent out via email. Remember, MOST of your classes will be live during your normal class time with your regularly scheduled instructor. The first night we go “virtual” which is March 27, Ms. Michelle will teach Ms. Diane’s ballet from 5:30-7 and Ms. Diane’s Modern/Jazz from 7-8. Ms. Alessandra will teach her normal schedule. If you normally join Ms. Diane after taking Tap on Friday with Ms. Alessandra, just join the Ballet lesson when tap is complete (as usual). This remains true for all classes where you overlap and jump in late to a lesson. Teachers

Classes are Moving Online as of Friday, March 27th

Dear PDT Family: We hope you are staying healthy and safe, first and foremost. For the safety of the community at large, at this point we do not feel comfortable re-opening the dance studio on 3/27. (Those that study on Friday evenings, you will have a virtual class the evening of 3/27. Ms. Alessandra will teach her lessons and Ms. Michelle will sub for Ms. Diane.) This could change but as of the date listed above, we plan to make this a “virtual dance studio” for at least two weeks after March 27 (the week of March 30). We will monitor the situation and if things are deemed safe, we will return to normal lessons; but for now, PLAN ON GOING REMOTE. Here is our plan: The following classes

Update on Jazzerella

Hello Jazzerella Cast Members! We hope this communication finds you healthy and safe! Here is an update and "Jazzerella" will be as follows: Load in with flooring and barres on April 25 at 12noon. Tech/dress rehearsal from 1-5pm. All at the Hill School Center for the Arts. Performance on April 26 with Cast A at 2pm; Cast B at 6pm. All tickets for either performance will be honored at both shows. This is a fluid situation and could still change but this is where we are today. ** Music from the show is available on the forms page of this site so that you can practice at home! Thank you for your understanding! Pottstown Dance Theatre

Update on Lessons and Rehearsals as a Response to COVID-19

Dear Pottstown Dance Theatre Family: In light of what the World Health Organization has now labeled a global pandemic, we are making the health and safety of all of our dancers, teachers, and staff a number one priority. Here are our plans thus far but as you know, this is an ever changing situation, so please remain flexible as we do our best for all involved. 1) All classes and rehearsals are cancelled from March 13-March 26. As of the date of this letter, we plan to re-open on Friday March 27. 2) “Jazzerella” dancers CAN CLICK HERE to access the music in the production so you can practice on your own at home. Please take advantage of this as your muscle memory needs to remain intact.
